7 years agoPortland Trail Blazers point guard Damian Lillard wasn't able to leave the contest unscathed on Tuesday, as he suffered a potentially serious injury to his left ankle in the loss to the Mavs. Lillard finished out the game but was reportedly carted from the locker room to the team bus afterwards. Lillard finished with 29 points on a brutal 6-for-20 shooting in this one, going just 2-for-10 from three-point land on the night. Dame added five rebounds, eight assists, two steals and a block in his 35 minutes, but the injury to his ankle really puts a damper on the nice stat line. The Blazers will surely be very cautious with their All-Star point guard going into the playoffs and hope for the best as they close out the season with a three-game cushion over the fourth seed.--Matthew Thomas
