7 years agoThe Los Angeles Chargers signed free-agent quarterback Geno Smith to a one-year deal on Sunday, according to a source. Smith and Cardale Jones will compete for the backup job behind quarterback Philip Rivers. Smith made just one start for the Giants last year and has played in parts of only five games since the 2015 season. He's no lock to make LA's final roster and has no fantasy relevance heading into 2018 drafts.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
