Lauri Markkanen Could Not Be Stopped Sunday
Lauri Markkanen dominated the Washington Wizards Sunday, leading his team to a blowout win. Markkanen scored a team-high 23 points on 7-for-11 shooting with six rebounds and five three-pointers in just 25 minutes. Markkanen has shown huge potential in his rookie season and should be a key piece in Chicago's rebuilding process. His ability to stretch the floor has been prominent, but he will have to contribute in other areas, like blocks, in order to become elite someday. The Bulls play against the Charlotte Hornets on Tuesday, who have given up the most threes to opposing power forwards. Markkanen will have a prime opportunity to put on another shooting clinic Tuesday.

Lauri Markkanen Will Not Play Against Grizzlies
Lauri Markkanen (illness) will miss additional time and has been ruled out for Tuesday's game against the Memphis Grizzlies. The 2023 All-Star will sit out a fourth consecutive game. It's the second straight game he will miss due to an illness. Utah has no interest in winning and will continue to give opportunities to younger players for the remainder of the season. Markkanen's absence opens the door for Kyle Filipowski, Brice Sensabaugh, and Kenyon Martin Jr. to take on larger roles in the rotation. Filipowski stands out as the best fantasy option, as he has joined the starting unit, where he averages 13.8 points, 7.9 rebounds, and 2.6 assists.
