Patrick Corbin Picks Up Opening Day Win
7 years agoDiamondbacks starter Patrick Corbin picked up his first win of the season in the D’Backs 8-2 win over the Rockies on Opening Day. The former All-Star was solid, tossing 5 2/3 innings, giving up two earned runs on seven hits and one walk while striking out eight. Corbin’s old demons came back to haunt him, as he gave up two home runs, even with the help of the humidor at Chase Field. Overall it was a very encouraging outing for Corbin, who could provide solid fantasy value pitching behind the D’Backs offense.
