7 years agoAfter delivering 25 home runs in his first full season back in 2016, Philadelphia Phillies third baseman Maikel Franco failed to capitalize last season. His home run total dipped instead of increasing, as did his average, RBI and total hits, while he lost playing time. Looking forward, his .234 BABIP last season could serve as a factor that could lead to a turnaround. Additionally, he struck out less last year and is entering a more potent lineup with a full season of Rhys Hoskins and the arrival of Carlos Santana.
