Ameer Abdullah's Role Uncertain
7 years agoDetroit Lions general manager Bob Quin said that running back Ameer Abdullah "sure does" have a role with the team going forward. Of course, the same was said about former tight end Eric Ebron, who was cut shortly after. It's hard to envision a heavy workload for Abdullah in the Motor City after the Lions signed LeGarrette Blount and are known to be looking for a running back in the upcoming draft. For now, Abdullah has limited fantasy value. That could change if he is traded to a team and lands a starting role.
