It's Week 23. We hope you still have a shot at the finals, and you're feeling good about your chances to win it all. Regardless of your situation, this is the home stretch and working the waiver wire successfully in these next few weeks are key to making a strong run in the postseason. Here are some interesting adds that can help you with your season goals.
This year, we're tossing out our old convention of separating waiver wire posts into positions, and instead, we're separating them into of league -- standard, shallow, deep, etc. The NBA is trending to positionless basketball, so we at RotoBaller should too.
For shallow (8-10 team) league adds, we use a general rule of thumb of an ownership rate of under 65% on Yahoo. All position eligibility based on Yahoo leagues.

Shallow League Adds for Week 23
Quinn Cook, PG
Ownership: 15%
6.0 PPG / 1.5 REB / 1.3 AST / .480% FG
It's usually around this time of the year that players that aren't usually fantasy relevant become relevant whether it be due to injury, players resting or a team has secured their positioning in the playoffs. For the Warriors, it happens to be a case of both. With the recent injury bug that has sidelined Kevin Durant (rib), Stephen Curry (ankle) and Klay Thompson (hand), the Warriors have had to look for their bench to provide the scoring until their stars rest up. Cue Quinn Cook, who has been an absolute stud taking over the point guard position in the past week.
Since the Warriors have called on him to take a larger role for the team, he's averaging 22.0 points, 1.7 steals and 3.7 threes a game on .634% shooting from the field. He's able to produce in all of the categories that are hard to come by, so he should be picked up if your team is lacking in steals and threes. It's unclear whether or not the Warriors will have all three stars playing again in the near future so until then, Cook can be a huge asset for your team.
Rondae Hollis-Jefferson, SF/PF
Ownership: 64%
14.4 PPG / 6.6 REB / 2.4 AST / .476 FG%
It's been a long and frustrating year for those that had Rondae on their fantasy team due to injuries and that explains why his ownership is just under the 65% cutoff. When healthy, he has the potential to be a top fantasy player. He's the best rebounder on the team and because of his skills around the glass he is a constant double-double threat. In the month of March he's averaging 15.5 points, 7.4 rebounds and 3.0 assists on .495% shooting.
He's been extremely impressive since his reinsertion into the starting lineup after coming off the bench for nine games. In his most recent game against Memphis, he led the way with 16 points and 12 rebounds. Rondae Hollis-Jefferson is rolling right now, and you can expect these type of numbers to remain the same until the end of the season. With no setbacks, RHJ can be the player that turns the table in your fantasy matchups, he is a must add if you are in need of an efficient player from the field that can contribute in points and rebounds.
Terry Rozier, PG/SG
Ownership 56%
10.6 PPG/ 4.4 REB / 1.8 3PM / .404 FG%
This is the second week in a row i'm writing about Terry Rozier. I hope he's still available in your league as he might be the best pickup for the rest of the season. Last week, with news of Kyrie Irving (knee) possibly missing some time, picking up Rozier was a no brainer. In more recent news, the injury to Marcus Smart (thumb) has him out for the foreseeable future, which makes Rozier the hottest acquisition again for the week.
Rozier continues to shine as a starter, in the past week he's averaging 17.3 points, 6.3 rebounds, 6.3 assists and 2.7 threes a game. The Celtics heavily rely on him to create offense when he's a starter, so it's safe to assume he'll take on the same role when Kyrie returns. He has an all around game and can contribute to most categories, if your team can spare some poor shooting nights, Rozier may be the guy to have on your roster as the season comes to an end.
