Thaddeus Young Shows Up Against Lakers
Thaddeus Young showed up to play against the Lakers on Monday. Young scored 18 points, shooting an efficient 9-for-12 from the field. He also came one rebound away from acquiring a double-double, finishing the night with nine boards in addition to four assists and two blocks. Young took advantage of the absence of forward Domantas Sabonis (ankle), who is also slated to miss Wednesday’s matchup against New Orleans. He should continue to see extra time on the floor while Sabonis is out as well as see a minor increase in both offensive and defensive ratings and usage percentage. With the Pelicans being known as a team that likes to push the pace, Young will have ample opportunity to put up some fantasy numbers on Wednesday.

Thaddeus Young Moves Into Starting Five
Thaddeus Young will move into the starting five ahead of Tuesday's game against the Los Angeles Lakers. This is a surprising move considering Young has played a total of 34 minutes in eight appearances this season. The Raptors are going to be without Jakob Poeltl (ankle) for at least two weeks. That means, Chris Boucher and apparently Young are going to play bigger roles in the rotation. Young is starting, but Boucher is the much more trustworthy streaming option between the two.

Thaddeus Young Listed As Doubtful Tuesday
Thaddeus Young (illness) is considered doubtful for Tuesday's meeting with Orlando. The veteran has missed the past two games with an illness and still isn't feeling 100 percent. In his 17th year in the league, Young has mostly taken up a mentorship role on the Raptors team, appearing in only three games and logging just a handful of minutes. His absence doesn't impact fantasy basketball in any way.

Thaddeus Young Questionable On Thursday Versus Pelicans
Thaddeus Young (knee) is listed as questionable on Thursday due to a left knee sprain. The former lottery pick has seen his minutes fluctuate a lot this season and has taken on a lesser role with Jakob Poeltl entering the mix. Head coach Nick Nurse did say earlier this week that he expected Young to play on Thursday, so managers that might need him should just check back for updates leading up to tipoff. It's not recommended to start Young in any fantasy format right now though.

Thaddeus Young Enters Starting Lineup Wednesday
Thaddeus Young Wednesday against the Sacramento Kings. The Raptors seem to have felt Domantas Sabonis would be too much for rookie center Christian Koloko and moved him to the second unit. In eight starts this year, Young has produced 9.9 points, 6.3 rebounds, 3.0 assists and 1.8 steals in 27.4 minutes per game. With OG Anunoby (hip) out for at least the next week, Young could be a valuable streaming option.
