The Boston Bruins have signed forward prospect Ryan Donato to a two-year entry-level contract, and he will join the team immediately. The 21-year-old led the Harvard Crimson in scoring this season and was a standout performer on the United States Olympic team in Pyongyang this year alongside Bruins forward Brian Gionta, scoring five goals and adding an assist in the five games Team USA played. Donato will be eligible to play when the Bruins take on the Columbus Blue Jackets on Monday night. It will be interesting to see which line he plays on for Boston and just how prepared he is for the high level of competition the NHL provides. Expect more information to come Monday at the Bruins morning skate.--Alex McKenzieRead More News
