7 years agoIt wouldn't be surprising if Atlanta Braves starting pitcher Anibal Sanchez echoed the line of Dante from the classic movie Clerks: "I wasn't even supposed to BE here today." Sanchez had just joined the Braves and he was put into a spot start against the defending World Champion Houston Astros after Scott Kazmir was scratched due to a contusion on the left side of his jaw. This was an Astros team that featured Jose Altuve, George Springer and Carlos Correa. Sanchez didn't do too badly, giving up two runs in his four innings of work while striking out two and walking one. Still, he's not a fantasy consideration right now.--Michael Griffin - RotoBaller
