7 years agoMinnesota Wild defenseman Jared Spurgeon will miss at the least the next month after suffering a partial tear in his hamstring during Tuesday's loss to the Avalanche. The news comes at a tough time for fantasy owners, as Spurgeon was on pace to have the best year of his career. However, it is now likely that the undersized defenseman's season will end with 37 points, 13 power-play points and 110 shots in 61 games.
