7 years agoIn a lopsided loss on Tuesday, Tampa Bay Lightning defenseman Ryan McDonagh found a bright spot, scoring his first goal with his new team. The goal came when the Bolts were down 7-3, so unfortunately it did not come at an impactful juncture, but it’s always nice to get the first one out of the way. Tuesday night was only his second game with Tampa Bay. He was acquired from the New York Rangers at the deadline but was dealing with a hand injury, keeping him from the lineup until last Saturday. The goal was just his third of the season, but McDonagh is usually a solid fantasy contributor. He’ll continue to get ice time in Tampa.--Kevin Acorn
