Standard League Adds for Week 22
Reggie Jackson, PG, SG – Detroit Pistons
Ownership: 47%
14.6 PPG / 2.8 REB / 5.5 AST / 1.3 3PT
Reggie Jackson was a late round flier in most drafts back in October and provided top-100 value in return. That was until he went down with a grade 3 ankle sprain in December. He is now slated to come back late this week or early next week and could provide a big boost for the playoffs.
Before he was sidelined, Jackson was averaging 14.6 points and 5.5 assists per game. His assist mark ranks inside the top-25 for the year. The risk is whether or not you can trust him to come in and perform right where he left off. With the playoffs here, one cannot wait for his game to round into form.
Nemanja Bjelica, PF – Minnesota Timberwolves
Ownership 38%
6.6 PPG / 3.8 REB / 1.1 AST / .439 3PT%
You can say a lot of things about Minnesota Timberwolves head coach Tom Thibodeau, but the one thing that has been true at both Chicago and Minnesota is that he plays those he trusts. Right now, Thibs trusts Nemanja Bjelica.
In the last seven games, Bjelica has not played less than 32 minutes a game. In his last four games, he is averaging 17.2 points, 7.7 rebounds, 3.5 assists and 3.0 blocks per game. His advanced statistics support this upward swing in his production. This is not a trend and he should be owned as long as Thibodeau continues to play him.
Montrezl Harrell, PF, C – Los Angeles Clippers
Ownership 32%
10.3 PPG / 4.0 REB / .633 FG% / 0.7 BLK
Montrezl Harrell was brought in as an energy guy. Then the Clippers shifted their whole roster, Harrell started playing sizable minutes and has made the most of it. Over the last 10 games, he's averaged 16.2 points, 4.2 rebounds, 1.2 assists and 1.0 blocks. His .651 True Shooting Percentage ranks fourth in the league.
"He can score and our guys recognize that," said head coach Doc Rivers. "As long as we keep playing the way we're playing unselfish, the ball will find the energy and he's the energy. So he's been great for us."
Pick him up and he'll be great for you too.
