Craig Anderson To Start Monday
7 years agoOttawa Senators head coach Guy Boucher confirmed that goalie Craig Anderson will start in their Monday evening tilt with the Panthers. Mike Condon was in goal the only other time these teams met this season, making 37 saves on 38 shots. Unfortunately, that was all Florida needed for the win. Anderson comes into this matchup with two wins in his last three starts, most recently suffering a shootout loss to the Buffalo Sabres last Thursday. On the season, Anderson’s 3.24 goals-against average and .901 save percentage leave much to be desired, but interestingly enough, the Atlantic is the only division against which he has managed a winning record (6-4-4). Alas, his pedestrian numbers paired with Florida’s recent streak of success make Anderson an option best left on the waiver wire.
