7 years agoFree-agent running back Dion Lewis will be quite attractive to plenty of teams in free agency because of his ability to be effective in space and because of his power between the tackles. The Patriots will fight to retain him, but the expectation is he'll be too expensive to retain. The Jets, Titans, Colts, Buccaneers, Browns and Raiders could all be interested in his services. The 49ers could also be in the mix if they move on from Carlos Hyde, which is expected. Lewis ran for 896 yards (5.0 yards per carry) on 180 attempts for a career-high six scores in 2017, and he also added 32 catches for 214 yards and three more touchdowns.
