7 years agoThe New York Giants are aware of a potentially troubling video that wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. posted Friday while on a Nike-sponsored trip in Europe. The clip posted on social media shows Beckham in a bed holding what appears to be a brown cigarette or cigar. There is a woman next to him with a credit card and what looks like a white powdery substance aligned in rows. "We're aware of the video, but we don't have any comment beyond that," a Giants team spokesman said via email Friday night. OBJ is looking for a lucrative long-term extension this offseason, so this video is in very poor timing on his part. Beckham has been known to be somewhat of a hothead on the field and sidelines, but on the field, his athleticism and football abilities make him one of the most talented receivers in football. It's unclear what may come of this video, but it's another reminder that his eccentric and often controversial personality may not take too well with the new coaching staff.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
