Jonathan Isaac Solid On Defensive End
7 years agoOrlando Magic forward Jonathan Isaac continued to roll with the starting unit against the Clippers on Saturday night. The rookie played 25 minutes at the four spot, finishing things up with nine points on a rough 4-for-10 from the field and 1-for-4 from behind the arc. He supplemented his weak offensive showing by pulling down five boards, nabbing away four steals and blocking a shot. Undoubtedly he is a work in progress, especially on the offensive end, as he is shooting only 36 percent from the field this season. He will likely see a reduction in minutes upon the return of Aaron Gordon (concussion), who could be back as early as Tuesday night. Isaac hasn’t done enough to garner a spot on any fantasy roster due to his injury history and poor offensive showing this season, but he does gain a small amount of appeal in DFS contests, but only if Gordon misses some more time.
