7 years agoSan Diego Padres outfielder Travis Jankowski went yard twice on Saturday against the Indians. Prior to Saturday's eruption, Jankowski was hitting .182 and on the outside looking in at a competitive San Diego outfield. Jankowski, 26, has played sporadically in three seasons with the Padres but did steal 30 bases in 2016. While his speed is an asset, he strikes out too often (26.9 percent) for someone with minimal power (.074 ISO). Saturday's power surge aside, outfielder Franchy Cordero has a similar skill set with more upside. However, if the Padres opt to hold back Cordero, Jankowski could be the main beneficiary.--Andrew Le - RotoBaller
