7 years agoToronto Raptors center Jonas Valanciunas hit the game-sealing free throws against the Rockets on Friday, finishing with a full line in the contest that included a double-double. Valanciunas scored 14 points on the night, shooting 5-for-8 from the field and 4-for-4 from the line in the big win. He added 10 rebounds and three assists to his line as well, while playing some active defense with two steals and a block in his 27 minutes. The only negatives were his three turnovers, but those come as an afterthought after essentially winning the game for his team. JV will look to take fellow big man Enes Kanter out of the equation on Sunday when the Raps travel to New York City to face the Knicks.--Matthew Thomas
