Zach LaVine Displays Rare Efficiency in Win
7 years agoChicago Bulls guard Zach LaVine has not been the same player we saw in last year's breakout season with the Minnesota Timberwolves ever since his return from a torn ACL. He did manage to score 21 points on 8-for-14 shooting from the field and added five assists in a showdown between lottery-bounded teams. The athletic guard was surprisingly efficient and shot over 50 percent for the first time since Feb. 5 when they lost against the Sacramento Kings. LaVine is arguably the team's best player, so he should continue to score in bunches and is more than capable of getting at least a steal a game despite his glaring inefficiency.

Zach LaVine Misses Wednesday's Action For Personal Reasons
2 weeks agoSacramento Kings guard/forward Zach LaVine (personal) will not play in Wednesday's contest against the Cleveland Cavaliers. He is a late scratch for the game for personal reasons, as LaVine was not included in the initial injury report. Domantas Sabonis (ankle) will also exit the lineup on Wednesday, which will significantly alter the Kings' offense. Malik Monk and DeMar DeRozan are expected to lead the team. At the same time, Keon Ellis and Devin Carter should get more action on the court.

Zach LaVine Slated To Debut On Wednesday
2 months agoSacramento Kings guard Zach LaVine is expected to make his team debut against the Orlando Magic on Wednesday. LaVine was unavailable for Monday's game after being traded in three-team deal from the Chicago Bulls. Obviously, LaVine wasn't going to make the trip to Minnesota on such short notice, but he will be available for Wednesday's contest. LaVine missed the last three games before the trade due to the birth of his child. There is a chance that LaVine is under a minutes limit during his team debut. Despite that, fantasy managers in season-long formats can feel comfortable getting LaVine in their lineups ahead of this game.

Zach LaVine Heading To Sacramento
2 months agoAccording to ESPN's Shams Charania, the Kings, Spurs, and Bulls completed a three-team deal on Sunday night, resulting in guard Zach LaVine (and guard Sidy Cissoko) being dealt to the Kings. Also included in the trade; guard De'Aaron Fox and guard Jordan McLaughlin will head to San Antonio, with the Bulls acquiring forward Zach Collins, guard Tre Jones, and guard Kevin Huerter. After years of trade rumors involving LaVine, he will now suit up for the third team of his career. The 29-year-old is a two-time NBA All-Star, averaging 20.7 points, 4.1 rebounds, 4.0 assists, and 38.7% shooting from behind the arc in 622 regular-season contests. Unfortunately, injuries have plagued LaVine throughout his career, with the 2014 No. 13 overall pick logging over 70 games just three times in the previous 10 seasons. But if LaVine can stay healthy, he is capable of helping the Kings make a deep postseason push, especially now that he will be playing alongside Domantas Sabonis and former Bulls teammate DeMar DeRozan.

Zach LaVine Downgraded To Out
2 months agoChicago Bulls guard Zach LaVine (personal) has been ruled out ahead of Sunday's game against the Detroit Pistons. As expected, LaVine will miss his third straight game due to a lingering illness. His next chance to play will be against the Miami Heat on Tuesday. The Bulls are likely going to continue using a committee approach to fill the void in the rotation. That means, Coby White, Josh Giddey, Ayo Dosunmu, and Lonzo Ball will all see increased playing time. Both Giddey and White are already must-start players, but Dosunmu and Ball become possible streaming options with LaVine sidelined.
