Former St. Louis Rams running back Tre Mason is ready to return to football following a two-year hiatus, according to sources. He has recently been in contact with NFL teams and is in a much better place mentally after multiple run-ins with the police in 2016. However, per sources, NFL teams are reluctant to give him a chance after his off-field incidents. Mason, a 2014 third-round pick, ran for 765 yards (4.3 yards per carry) and five touchdowns in his rookie season, but he was a backup in 2015 and ran for just 207 yards on 75 carries. It's highly unlikely that Mason will sign with a team for 2018 and make an impact on the field.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBallerRead More News
