DeMar DeRozan Makes Short Work of the Hawks
7 years agoToronto Raptors shooting guard DeMar DeRozan led all scorers on Tuesday, dropping 25 points (6-for-12) on the Hawks, connecting on one triple in the win, while going a hot 12-for-14 from the free-throw line. DeRozan helped out with three rebounds, four assists and a steal, but had issues holding on to the ball, as he picked up four turnovers in this one. This was the Raptors fifth straight win and DeRozan has a lot to do with that. Although it is a long shot, Deebo has a legitimate argument for MVP considerations as his owners and Raps fans know. He will look to keep up the stellar play on Wednesday, as the Raptors head to Detroit for the second game in a back-to-back set.
