Rory McIllroy’s Recent Struggles Make Him A Risk At Valspar Championship
7 years agoRory McIllroy, currently the eighth-ranked golfer in the official World Golf rankings, has struggled as of late. His last three tournaments have resulted in a missed cut, a T20 and a 59th place finish at the Honda Classic just a couple weeks ago. He started off the new year strong but has really struggled with his accuracy on most of his shots and seems very erratic with his putting game, having switched putters a handful of times this year alone, including mid-round in golf tournaments. Being in his first Valspar Championship, we can only hope for the best, as it’s still Rory McIllroy, and he’s still one of the longest-hitting and overall best players in the world when all parts of his game are clicking.
