Kyle Turris Is A Fantasy Bust
7 years agoThe Nashville Predators acquired center Kyle Turris from the Ottawa Senators in a landmark three-team trade involving Matt Duchene, and the early returns have been promising. However, Turris has since been struggling with only three goals and four assists, and in his previous 18 outings, he only has 13 even-strength points on the season. Turris' only redeeming fantasy quality seems to be his power play. Centering the second line of a strong Nashville power play, he has three goals and 11 points, but that does not make him a valuable fantasy asset. His linemates Kevin Fiala (36.6 percent owned in ESPN leagues) and Craig Smith (35.0 percent owned in ESPN league) are much better options.
