Joel Embiid Gets the Last Laugh Over LeBron
7 years agoPhiladelphia 76ers center Joel Embiid was playing chess both on and off the court on Thursday against the Cavs, putting up 17 points (7-for-18) in the winning effort against the Sixers East Coast rivals in Cleveland. Embiid was looking as impressive as ever in this one despite what the stat sheet said. He easily led all teams in rebounding with 14 on the night while chipping in six assists and one block as well. JoJo even kept his turnover numbers low in the big win, committing just two in his 34 minutes on the floor. It's no secret Embiid and the Sixers would love for King James to join them next season, and performances like these definitely won't hurt their cause. Embiid will continue his social media campaign on the flight, as he and his squad head back to Philly to take on Dwight Howard and the Hornets on Friday.
