Broncos Could Go All-In On Kirk Cousins
7 years agoThe Denver Broncos are prepared to go "all-in" for Washington Redskins impending free-agent quarterback Kirk Cousins when free agency kicks off March 14, according to two sources familiar with the team's free agency plans. Denver is examining scenarios that could potentially open up between $40 million and $50 million in salary cap space in order to make a run at Cousins. The Vikings and Jets are expected to be the other main competitors for Cousins. Cousins will no doubt be the most sought after free agent this offseason, and he'd significantly improve Denver's offense immediately. If they were to land him, he'd remain in the QB1 conversation, and the values of receivers Demaryius Thomas and Emmanuel Sanders would go up.
