Dalvin Cook Could Be Ready For OTAs
7 years agoMinnesota Vikings head coach Mike Zimmer said running back Dalvin Cook (knee) is going to be "pretty close" to being ready for organized team activities. Everything looks to be on track in Cook's recovery, and he should be good to go for the 2018 regular season. In four games in his rookie season before he suffered the injury, Cook was impressing with 74 carries, 354 yards (4.8 yards per carry) and two touchdowns. Assuming everything goes well in his recovery over the summer, Cook will enter 2018 as a strong RB1 choice, especially if the Vikings land Washington Redskins impending free-agent quarterback Kirk Cousins.
