7 years agoOrlando Magic forward Aaron Gordon had 11 points and 10 rebounds on Wednesday in a loss to Toronto. Gordon was listed as questionable before the game, and it showed. He took just nine shots, six of which were three-pointers. He finished 4-for-9 from the field and 1-for-6 from three. It's a far cry from where Gordon stood in November when he was shooting better than 40 percent from distance. Gordon has been hurt several times this year and has missed his fair share of games. With the Magic playing for nothing but lottery balls at this point, it's not completely unfathomable to see the Magic start to limit his minutes and focus on the future rather than another lost season. Orlando hosts Detroit on Friday. The last time Gordon played the Pistons, they were an entirely different team. Temper your expectations as Gordon goes head to head with Blake Griffin. Gordon has a tendency to force things when facing a premiere player on the other end.--Wai Sallas

3 weeks agoDenver Nuggets forward/center Aaron Gordon (calf, ankle) will suit up for Wednesday's contest against the Milwaukee Bucks. He is ready to return from a one-game absence after initially carrying a questionable tag on the injury report. Peyton Watson, who tallied 24 points in 39 minutes on Monday against the Chicago Bulls, will have to settle for a smaller role in the rotation due to Gordon's return. Although Gordon has been bothered by calf and ankle injuries, his recent performances have been outstanding, as the 29-year-old has averaged 23.4 points, 6.2 rebounds, and 3.8 assists over his last five appearances.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller

3 weeks agoDenver Nuggets forward/center Aaron Gordon (calf, ankle) is probable for Friday's matchup with the Portland Trail Blazers. Gordon has played in the Nugget's last two games despite being listed still on the injury report for right calf injury management and a sprained left ankle. If the 29-year-old can suit up, he will likely start at the center as Nikola Jokic (ankle), who is still sidelined with an ankle issue. He could also factor in fantasy this evening with the extra minutes available after finishing with 26 points, 11 rebounds, and one steal across 30 minutes in a 120-108 loss to the Lakers during his last outing on Wednesday.--Andrew Lennox - RotoBaller

4 weeks agoDenver Nuggets forward/center Aaron Gordon (calf, ankle) will suit up for Wednesday's tilt against the Los Angeles Lakers. Ahead of tip-off, the team has upgraded Gordon's status from probable to available. He should be heavily involved in the contest, considering that Nikola Jokic (elbow, ankle) and Jamal Murray (ankle) will remain sidelined for a second consecutive game. When the star duo sat out Monday's game against the Golden State Warriors, Gordon exploded for a season-high 38 points on 14-for-23 shooting.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller

4 weeks agoDenver Nuggets forward/center Aaron Gordon (calf, ankle) is ready to rejoin the action on Monday against the Golden State Warriors. He has been cleared to return after sitting out the second leg of a back-to-back on Saturday against the Washington Wizards. With Nikola Jokic (elbow, ankle), Jamal Murray (ankle), and Christian Braun (foot) out, Gordon is expected to handle a much heavier offensive workload than usual. He has been extremely efficient since the All-Star break, averaging 17.9 points per game with 56.1 percent shooting.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
