7 years agoDetroit Tigers third base prospect Jeimer Candelario (knee) is dealing with a bruised knee after colliding with Orioles starting pitcher Kevin Gausman behind the plate on Monday. Candelario should miss very little time, if any, in camp. That's good news, as he's the team's third baseman of the future after being traded over from the Cubs at the deadline last summer. He has little left to prove in the minors with a career .292/.373/.507 slash line and 24 home runs in 767 plate appearances. Candelario is a fine asset to own in dynasty/keeper leagues, and he should be relevant in deep mixed and AL-only leagues this year, too.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
