7 years agoAtlanta Braves starting pitcher Scott Kazmir is hoping to make the team as a dark-horse candidate. He's no longer the fireballer of years past, but he'd be a solid veteran addition to the rotation. He's among several candidates vying for the No. 5 spot. Kazmir helped his cause on Sunday, going an inning and while his two walks didn't look that good, he did escape with no runs scoring. The lefty could be a sneaky waiver wire pickup if he shows he still has some goods during the spring.--Michael Griffin - RotoBaller
