Dolphins Could Pursue C.J. Anderson
7 years agoWith Denver Broncos running back C.J. Anderson being a candidate to be released in the offseason to save money on the salary cap, it wouldn't be remotely surprising if the Miami Dolphins pursued him, two years after they signed Anderson to an offer sheet, which was matched by Denver. Anderson was upset when the Broncos fired running backs coach Eric Studesville, and the coach was hired recently by Miami. Anderson had is best season in the NFL in 2017, running for 1,007 yards (4.1 yards per carry). If Denver releases Anderson and Miami signs him, he'd likely split time with Kenyan Drake in the backfield.
