Vikings Expected To Consider AJ McCarron
7 years agoThe Minnesota Vikings are expected to pursue free-agent quarterback AJ McCarron this offseason if they are unable to re-sign Case Keenum. McCarron was ruled an unrestricted free agent on Thursday after he won his grievance against the Bengals. The Browns, Cardinals, Broncos and Jets are also expected to look at McCarron, and his price tag is expected to be in the $10 million range per year. If McCarron landed in Minnesota, he'd compete for the starting job. McCarron has been in the NFL for four years but has only played in parts of 10 games. He'd be a fallback option for the Vikings and wouldn't be very attractive as a QB2, even if he's in a starting role.
