7 years agoSeattle Mariners starting pitcher Erasmo Ramirez (lat) is dealing with a minor lat strain and has been shut down for two weeks. Ramirez has plenty of time to get ready for Opening Day, but this isn't a good start for the right-hander. Ramirez pitched well in the rotation as he returned to his former team, posting a 3.92 ERA and 1.16 WHIP over 11 starts. He allows too many home runs (1.51 HR/9), but a low walk rate can be attractive to those in deeper leagues for rotation depth.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
