Reggie Jackson Will Likely Miss A Few More Weeks
7 years agoDetroit Pistons guard Reggie Jackson (ankle) has missed roughly two months with a Grade 3 ankle sprain and will likely be out even longer. Head coach Stan Van Gundy told reporters he is unsure when Jackson will be back on the court. He was projected to miss six to eight weeks but could be a few more weeks. Jackson is out of his walking boot but has not been cleared to practice yet. Van Gundy said on Wednesday, "When (the team doctors) tell me he’s back, he’s back." Ish Smith will continue to start at point guard with Jameer Nelson as the primary backup.
