Al Horford Gets His Shot Going in Shootout
7 years agoBoston Celtics power forward/center Al Horford went into scoring mode as the Celtics lost a shootout to the Clippers. Horford always does what the team needs and in this high-scoring affair, Horford contributed 20 points on nearly 50 percent shooting. With only four rebounds, it was evident he was outmatched by DeAndre Jordan. Horford embodies the idea of a Swiss Army Knife. Since adding a three-point shot to his arsenal in recent years, he’s continued to offer a little bit of everything on a nightly basis. Fans, players and coaches recognized this as he earned his fifth All-Star berth over other front-court players with flashier stat lines. Look for Horford to continue his brilliance in the stretch run.
