7 years agoNew Orleans Pelicans power forward Anthony Davis is now being relied upon as the team's center in the wake of a season-ending Achilles injury to DeMarcus Cousins. On Tuesday night, Davis put forth a strong effort, but it wasn't enough to get the Pelicans past the Kings. Davis scored 23 points on 6-for-16 shooting and pulled down 13 rebounds. In addition, the big man dished out five assists and blocked six shots. Davis is a top fantasy option and remains so for the rest of the season. He could also see the occasional 30-plus point performance as New Orleans tries desperately to stay in the playoff hunt.--Justin Carter - RotoBaller
