Andre Drummond Validates Well-Deserved All-Star Nod
7 years agoDetroit Pistons power forward/center Andre Drummond had a gargantuan night on both ends of the floor in the win over the Cleveland Cavaliers, scoring 21 points on 9-for-12 shooting in addition to acquiring 22 rebounds, seven assists, three steals, and three blocks. The newly announced All-Star has improved dramatically with his free throw shooting , going from a dismal 38 percent last season to a respectable 62 percent clip from the line this season. He has also made significant strides with his passing, averaging around four assists per game compared to around one last season. It is no surprise that Drummond has been a Top 20 player all season long and should only benefit from the arrival of Blake Griffin.
