7 years agoNew York Knicks forward Michael Beasley got some extra opportunity in Denver with guard Tim Hardaway Jr. (rest) missing Thursday's game against the Nuggets as part of his recovery plan. Beasley was effective as a scorer, racking up a very efficient 21 points (6-for-8) with one three-pointer made in his 28 minutes of action. He also added four rebounds and helped out on the defensive end with two steals in the loss. Beasley looked like his best days might have been behind after Hardaway Jr.'s return, but he is still quietly averaging close to 15 points a game over the last two weeks. Owners could definitely do worse than Beasley.--Matthew Thomas
