Domantas Sabonis Has Off Night From The Field
7 years agoIndiana Pacers forward/center Domantas Sabonis went cold from the field on Sunday, managing only nine points on 2-for-8 shooting from the field in the win against the San Antonio Spurs. The Lithuanian sophomore was also disappointing on the glass, pulling down a season-low three rebounds. The Pacers were playing without their star center, Myles Turner, for the seventh straight game with his return date still being unknown. The only available big on the team's bench is center Al Jefferson, who is in the tail end of his career, so Sabonis will continue to have his opportunities. As a result, he should bounce back and continue to be a reliable source of points, rebounds and efficient field goal percentage, at least until Turner returns.
