We have a 10 game NBA slate, which is a good size for a Wednesday and there are some interesting options across the board. There are a number of injuries going around, so this should open up some value plays once we get the starting lineups.
In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for DraftKings on 1/17/18. I play both cash and GPP, so I will be looking for both players who have consistency, along with value plays that have upside from a favorable match up, or other factors.

DraftKings DFS Guards
Kyle Lowry - PG, TOR vs DET (DK - $7,500)
Lowry is back from his injury and put up 32 DraftKings points in 37 minutes. If he is healthy, he makes a great option almost any game, and has tournament upside since this game has an over-under set at 213 points. He has a 23% usage rate, and is averaging 1.12 fantasy points per minute, both of which are near the top for the Raptors. Lowry shot 16 field goal attempts in his first game back, but only made three of them. That is super low, and should return to his average, so buy in now and get him on the up swing.
Gary Harris - SG, DEN @ LAC (DK - $6,000)
Harris is up against the Clippers who are giving up 45 DraftKings points per game to shooting guards, which is second worst in the league. This is a prime spot for him, and should be viable in all formats. Harris has taken 10 or more field goal attempts in each of his last 10 games, so he is fully worked into the offense, and has good tournament upside, since he has shown the ability to scored 25 or more real points. He has a 23% usage rate, and is averaging 0.89 fantasy points per minute this season.
DraftKings DFS Forwards
E'Twaun Moore - SF, NO @ ATL (DK - $4,500)
We know that Moore isn't one of the first few offensive options for the Pelicans, but he has a great match up, and offers a bit of savings. Moore is up against the Hawks, who are giving up 43 DraftKings points per game to small forwards, which is dead last in the league. He has a 16% usage rate and is only averaging 0.69 fantasy points per minute. He has scored 23 or more DraftKings points in three of his last four games, so a bit of a nice streak going right now, combined with a very favorable opponent.
LaMarcus Aldridge - PF, SA @ BKN (DK - $8,200)
Aldridge is up against the Nets, who play at a very fast pace, and are weak defensively. This is an ideal spot to target in DFS, since players in this situation should be seeing extra touches, and their prices haven't been adjusted for that. Aldridge has a 31% usage rate and is averaging 1.15 fantasy points per minute. With this favorable match up, he should be good for any format tonight. The Nets are giving up 48 DraftKings points per game to power forwards, and anytime they are on the slate, you should roster against them.
DraftKings DFS Centers
Andre Drummond - C, DET @ TOR (DK - $8,800)
Drummond is coming off a very poor performance, so we want to hop on him now, hoping that his ownership will be lower due to recency bias. Prior to his most recent bad game, he had scored 43 or more DraftKings points in three straight games. Drummond has a 21% usage rate, and is averaging 1.30 fantasy points per minute. He is a double-double machine, giving up great tournament upside. This game has an over-under of 213 points, so plenty of scoring to go around.
Also consider: Hassan Whiteside - C, MIA @ MIL (DK - $7,400)
