We have a 6 game NBA slate, which is a bit small for a Saturday but there are some very interesting options across the board. There are a number of injuries going around, so this should open up some value plays once we get the starting lineups.
In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for DraftKings on 1/6/18. I play both cash and GPP, so I will be looking for both players who have consistency, along with value plays that have upside from a favorable match up, or other factors.

DraftKings DFS Guards
De'Aaron Fox - PG, SAC vs DEN (DK - $4,500)
Fox is in a spot to see a ton of minutes tonight since the Kings are very thin at point guard right now. We have Frank Mason who is out with an injury, and George Hill who is away from the team due to his wife about to give birth. As of right now, we don't know if he will be back for tonight's game, and if he ins't, Fox would be the only true point guard on the roster. Fox is back from his injury, and in his latest game he played 33 minutes, so it looks like he is ready to play full time. When Hill and Mason are off the court, Fox has a 26% usage rate, and is averaging 0.82 fantasy points per minute. He only needs 22.5 DraftKings points in order to reach 5x value, which he should be able to do so, since he is up against the Nuggets, who are second worst in the league at guarding point guards.
Eric Gordon - SG, HOU @ DET (DK - $6,800)
Gordon is seeing an increase in usage now that James Harden is off the court, so we want to jump on this usage while we can. Speaking of usage rates, he is sitting at 34% which is highest on the team. Along with that usage, he is averaging 1.00 fantasy point per minute, and has played 30 minutes in each of his last three games. He is up against the Pistons who are on the second night of a back to back, and giving up 40 DraftKings points per game to shooting guards. He makes a good cash game play tonight, since he has been so consistent over the past few games.
DraftKings DFS Forwards
Will Barton - SF, DEN @ SAC (DK - $5,700)
Barton is up against the Kings who are giving up 41 DraftKings points per to small forwards, putting Barton in a good spot. He makes a good GPP play tonight, as he has taken four or more three point attempts in three of his last four games. If he makes the starting lineup, he could be a cash game play given the match up and the upside. He isn't too expensive, but also isn't that cheap, so he falls into this middle area, giving him a chance to be overlooked by some. Potential for lower ownership is here, especially since he is playing in a late west coast game.
Aaron Gordon - PF, ORL vs CLE (DK - $8,000)
Gordon has a 27% usage rate, which is 3.5% above his normal due to Vucevic being out. He is up against the Cavs, who are giving up 48 DraftKings points per game. He has 38 DK points or more in two of his last three games. Gordon has 33 or more minutes in three straight games, and we all know the saying, minutes equals money. He makes a great cash game play, and with this game having an over-under set at 221 points, you want to attack this game. He should be a popular play tonight, but still a good option for GPPs.
DraftKings DFS Centers
Nikola Mirotic - PF/C, CHI @ IND (DK - $6,500)
Mirotic is up against the Pacers, who are dead last in the league at guarding centers. They are giving up 59 DraftKings points per game, putting Mirotic in a great spot. He has scored 32 DraftKings points in four straight games. He also has plenty of upside for GPPs, since he casn shoot the three ball. Good all around spot for him, and he should be able to reach 5x value easily in this game. He is averaging 1.31 fantasy points per minute, which is great as he can really fill up the stat sheet.
