Spencer Dinwiddie Drops 26 Points, Including Game-Winner
7 years agoBrooklyn Nets point guard Spencer Dinwiddie came back to life at the right time, as he almost single-handedly beat the Minnesota Timberwolves. He scored 26 points, which included a game-winning jumper in addition to dishing out nine assists. Dinwiddie has been very quiet recently, as he hasn’t scored more than 12 points in any of his last five games. The emergence of guard Caris LeVert has lessened the team's dependence on Dinwiddie’s scoring role. With LeVert sidelined for the first time all season, Dinwiddie took the bulk of the scoring responsibility on Wednesday. The Nets expect LeVert to return to the court on Saturday.
