It's officially December! In case you're keeping track, we're down to 14 days until Star Wars: The Last Jedi, 24 days until Christmas, and 30 days until the end of the NFL regular season. Where does the time go!? If nothing else though, we're all due for a fun final month of 2017.
The goal of this weekly column is to help find the most profitable DFS stacks, while avoiding the duds. Stacking, or pairing multiple players from the same NFL team, is an ideal way to maximize your point production, which is crucial in larger GPP (guaranteed prize pool) tournaments.
Let's take a look at some of the top DFS stacks for Week 13, loosely sorted by salary.

High-Priced Week 13 DFS Stacks
Los Angeles Chargers QB Philip Rivers and WR Keenan Allen vs. Cleveland
This will be the chalk play of the week, given the ideal home matchup against the Browns and the recent hot streak for both Rivers and Allen. But just because it's bound to be a popular play doesn't mean you should avoid it.
Rivers torched Dallas 434 yards and three touchdowns on Thanksgiving, while Allen has lines of 12-159-2 and 11-172-1 in his last two games. Cleveland has surrendered 22 passing touchdowns this season, second most in the NFL. Look for Rivers and Allen to stay red-hot.
New Orleans QB Drew Brees and WR Michael Thomas vs. Carolina
Thomas was relatively quiet last Sunday against the Los Angeles Rams, finishing with five receptions for 52 yards on eight targets. The second-year standout hasn't scored since Week 4, a seven-week scoreless streak that could end Sunday against the Panthers.
Carolina has allowed 17 passing TDs this season, tied for 16th in the NFL. Brees is always one of the safer DFS plays, so start him with confidence. If cost isn't an issue, consider a stack with star rookie running back Alvin Kamara.
Minnesota QB Case Keenum and WR Adam Thielen at Atlanta
Teddy Bridgewater has been active on the roster for the last three weeks, but the Vikings simply can't bench Keenum; he's playing too well. Keenum has topped 280 yards in each of his last games with 10 total touchdowns over that same span.
Thielen, on the other hand, is one of four receivers in the NFL currently with 1,000-plus yards. The others? Antonio Brown, Julio Jones, and DeAndre Hopkins. Thielen has emerged as a dynamic weapon in Minnesota's passing attack this season, and should be in line for another solid game in a high-scoring game against Atlanta.
Moderately-Priced Week 13 DFS Stacks
Los Angeles QB Rams Jared Goff and WR Cooper Kupp at Arizona
No Robert Woods, no problem? At least for one week that was true. Kupp stepped up with an eight-catch, 116-yard showing last Sunday with Woods sidelined by a shoulder injury. Woods is unlikely to play this Sunday, leaving Kupp in a position to capitalize once again.
Goff has thrown for at least 300 yards and two touchdowns in three of his last four games, a trend that should continue against the Cardinals' 18th-ranked pass defense. This is a reasonably-priced stack with considerable upside.
Tampa Bay QB Jameis Winston and WR Mike Evans at Green Bay
Look who's back! After a three-game absence, Winston will return Sunday against the Packers, and we're betting he's hungry for a W. All jokes aside, Winston sets up as a nice fantasy play against Green Bay's 25th-ranked pass defense.
Evans hasn't found the end zone since Week 7, but he's drawn a whopping 22 targets over his last two games. Assuming that volume remains, Evans is a good bet break his scoreless skid.
New York Jets QB Josh McCown and WR Robby Anderson vs. Kansas City
While Evans can't find the end zone, Anderson has basically built a home there. The second-year breakout star has scored at least one touchdown in five consecutive games, which includes his 146-yard, two-touchdown masterpiece last Sunday.
The reeling Chiefs have lost three straight and five of their last six, so the Jets are catching them at an ideal time. Plus, Kansas City's pass defense ranks 28th in the league. Expect Anderson to stay hot.
Bargain-Priced Week 13 DFS Stacks
Green Bay QB Brett Hundley and WR Davante Adams vs. Tampa Bay
While veteran standouts Jordy Nelson and, to a lesser degree, Randall Cobb have suffered a drop in production since Aaron Rodgers sustained a broken collarbone, Adams has remained a solid fantasy option. He's averaging nearly 100 yards per game over Green Bay's last three contests, along with two TDs.
Hundley won't make Packers forget about Rodgers, but the former UCLA standout was brilliant last Sunday, passing for 245 yards and three TDs against Pittsburgh. Hundley and Adams are a solid stack against the Buccaneers' 32nd-ranked pass defense.
San Francisco QB Jimmy Garoppolo and WR Marquise Goodwin at Chicago
Need a Hail Mary this week? Why not roll the dice with Garoppolo, who will be making his first start with the 49ers. The Bears' defense has performed well this season, given the struggles of the team's offense.
But cracks are starting to show for Chicago. The Bears have surrendered five passing touchdowns over the past two games to Matthew Stafford and Carson Wentz. All it takes for the speedster Goodwin is one long touchdown to return value. It's a dart throw, but hey, it's a cheap one.
