Daily Fantasy Hockey Lineup Picks (11/14/17): NHL DFS Advice for FanDuel, DraftKings

Tom Vecchio's top daily fantasy hockey lineup picks for 11/14/17. Expert NHL DFS advice, sleepers & player recommendations for FanDuel and DraftKings.

We have an eight game slate tonight, and there are some really interesting options who should be considered for all formats. There are a number of high powered offenses on the slate tonight, so stacking is the best route to go with roster construction.

Vegas lines are big when it comes to picking games to target, and that's a good place to start for goalies. When it comes to skaters, goal totals is another main place to start. Usually 5.5 goals is average, so targets games at six, and can look for goalies in games with a total at five.

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy hockey lineup picks for DraftKings and FanDuel on 11/14/17. The lineup picks will range from some of the elite players to mid-priced options and value plays. If you have any questions or comments, feel free to hit me up on Twitter @DFS_Tom. Let's get to it, shall we?

DFS Forwards to Consider

Tyler Seguin - C, DAL @ FLA (DK - $7,600, FD - $8,100)

Seguin is on the top line for the Stars, along with being on the first power-play, so we are working with a player who sees a ton of ice time. He has 17 points in 17 games this season, and averaging over four shots per game. He is one of the most expensive center's on the board tonight, so you will have to pay up for him, but you are getting a player with multi point upside. He is great for any format, but especially good for cash. His full line stack is very expensive, so just taking him in cash will get you a solid floor of points. Up against the Panthers, who are giving up over 3.5 goals per game.

Kyle Connor - W, WPG vs ARI (DK - $5,100, FD - $4,300)

Connor is a rookie who is seeing a ton of ice time for the Jets. He is on the first forward line and the top power-play unit, so for his price, you really can't get a betters spot. He has eight points in 11 games this season, and taking about two shots per game. His price is especially favorable on FanDuel, so if you are playing over there, he should be considered one of the locks for tonight, regardless of format. He just opens up so much in terms of roster construction, and shouldn't be passed on.

DFS Defenders to Consider

Kris Letang (DK - $6,100, FD - $6,600)

If you are saving some money with Kyle Connor, you can spend up a bit at defense, so let's look at Letang. He is on the top defensive pairing and the top power-play unit, and getting exposure to the powerful Penguins offense is never a bad option. He has 13 points in 19 game this season, and averaging three shots per game. He also has 31 blocked shots in those 19 games, so really filling the stat sheet. Getting it done in all aspects of the game, which is exactly what you want in a high priced defender.

Ryan Suter (DK - $5,000, FD - $5,200)

Suter is a veteran defender in the league, who is seeing time on both the top power-play unit and the top defensive pairing. He is averaging two blocked shots per game, along with two shots per game, so we know he will be producing on both ends of the ice. He is a workhorse for the Wild when it comes to ice time. He is playing nearly 26 minutes per game, and will always be on the ice when it counts. Great option for a one off in a GPP.

DFS Goalies to Consider

Jonathan Quick - G, LA vs VAN (DK - $8,200, FD - $9,100)

The Kings, and Quick, have lost two games in a row, and that simply won't continue tonight. A team this good, with a goalie doesn't lose this many in a row. The Kings have given up the second fewest goals this season, because their defense is great, and Quick is having one hell of a comeback season. He is one of the top options on the night, and should be considered for all formats. He has nine wins in 14 starts, along with two shutouts. He is up against the Canucks, who aren't the best team, and this is a spot for him to get back on track.
