BALLER MOVE: Add in 12+ Team PPR Leagues
OWNED IN: 31% of Yahoo! Leagues
ANALYSIS: For the second straight week, J.D. McKissic filled in for the injured C.J. Prosise as the pass-catching back in the Seattle offense. And for the second straight week, McKissic offered more than a healthy Prosise offered across the first few games of the season. Seahawks' coach Pete Carroll has shown a willingness to give guys opportunities, and without a strong running game to start the year McKissic may be able to capitalize and move up on the depth chart. Some combination of Thomas Rawls and Eddie Lacy will likely handle the majority of running duties now that rookie Chris Carson is out for an extended time with an ankle injury. However, the change of pace pass-catching role appears to be up in the air now that McKissic has performed so well in Prosise's absence.
McKissic will have a secure role as long as Prosise is out for the Seahawks, making him worth the roster spot in deeper PPR formats. There is a great chance he will still remain a valuable option once Prosise returns, so fantasy owners can expect him to continue to contribute in PPR leagues throughout the year.
