The Thursday slate was less than ideal, as neither slate was huge. That will not be the case tonight, though, as we have plenty of games on the main slate. There are picks at all tiers of the pricing levels, which means there are multiple ways to construct lineups.
In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy baseball lineup picks for DraftKings and FanDuel on 9/1/17. The lineup picks will range from some of the elite players to mid-priced options and value plays.

DFS Starting Pitchers to Consider
Clayton Kershaw - at SD (DK - $13,500, FD - $12,100)
Kershaw has only started 21 games this season, but he has looked elite in that time. In those games, he has a 15-2 record, 2.04 ERA, and 10.7 K/9. He gets a great matchup against the Padres tonight, and Kershaw is a massive -235 favorite in a game set at only 7 runs. He can safely be used in all leagues on this slate.
Mike Clevinger - at DET (DK - $9,000, FD - $8,500)
Clevinger has thrown well in limited starts this season, as he has a 7-5 record, 3.72 ERA, and 10.3 K/9 through 17 starts. He has also been a significantly better pitcher on the road, and he gets a good matchup against the Tigers, who he has thrown well against twice this season. Clevinger is a -255 favorite in a game set at 9 runs, and he can be used in all leagues tonight.
DFS Infielders to Consider
Stephen Vogt - C, vs WAS (DK - $3,000, FD - $2,200)
Vogt has been a consistent option over his last 10 games, specifically for his low price tag. He has also hit well in Milwaukee this season, as he is hitting over .300 with a slugging percentage north of .550, although in limited games. He gets a solid matchup against Tanner Roark tonight, and Vogt hits right-handed pitching well. He can be used in all leagues.
Matt Olson - 1B, at SEA (DK - $3,600, FD - $3,200)
Olson brings an average over .350 and an OPS over 1.100 over his last 10 games into this game. He has been a dominant player against right-handed pitching this season, and he gets a great matchup against Mike Leake tonight. Olson still comes with a low price tag, and he can be used in all leagues on this slate.
Brad Miller - 2B, at CWS (DK - $3,100, FD - $2,700)
The Rays have been playing well as an offense recently, and Miller has been a part of them. He's only hitting around .250 over his last 10 games, but he also has a slugging percentage around .500 during those games. He gets a great matchup against Reynaldo Lopez, and Miller has been playing well enough to be considered in all leagues tonight.
Manny Machado - 3B, vs TOR (DK - $5,300, FD - $4,200)
Machado is a player that has displayed elite power and speed over his last 10 games. He's also hitting for a reasonable average. He has found ways to stay consistent over that span, while also adding plenty of upside on a nightly basis. He gets a good matchup against Joe Biagini, and Machado can be used in al leagues.
Trevor Story - SS, vs ARI (DK - $3,700, FD - $3,800)
Story has been playing well recently, as his average is nearing .300 and he has displayed decent power over his last 10 games. He has also been a significantly better hitter at home this season. He gets a good matchup against Taijuan Walker, and Story makes a great option in all leagues.
DFS Outfielders to Consider
Kevin Kiermaier - OF, at CWS (DK - $4,500, FD - $3,400)
Kiermaier has caught fire recently, as he's hitting well over .300 with an OPS over 1.000 over his last 10 games. He has displayed an elite combination of speed and power over that span, and he gets a great matchup against Reynaldo Lopez tonight. Kiermaier is no longer a cheap option, but he can be used in all leagues.
Brandon Moss - OF, at MIN (DK - $3,400, FD - $2,200)
Moss has been struggling a bit recently, but he comes with a low price tag and tremendous upside. He gets a great matchup against Dillon Gee, and Moss has played extremely well against the Twins this season. He has not been playing well enough to be used in cash games, but he makes an outstanding tournament option.
