We have a nine game slate to kick off our week, and there are some big name pitchers on the bump today. If you are a cash game player, there are some obvious picks at pitcher, so you will need to find some value to fit them into your lineup. As of now, the only game that looks to be affected by weather is the SEA @ MIN game.
In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy baseball lineup picks for FanDuel on 6/12/2017. The DFS lineup picks will range from some of the elite players to mid-priced options, and of course, value plays.

Offensive Stacks
San Diego Padres vs Bronson Arroyo
If you are a tournament player who worries about ownership percentages, then this is a spot to look at. Generally speaking, most west coast games have lower ownership in tournaments. Also, this game is at Padres, which is a pitchers park, so many people won't stack players there, and the Padres aren't the best offensive team in the league. BUT, will all that said, this is a great spot for the Padres. The simple fact is, that Bronson Arroyo isn't a good pitcher, he isn't even close. He has given up 74 hits in 63.1 IP for a 1.38 WHIP. Terrible numbers for the veteran, and with all those factors in play, this is the time to exploit DFS psychology, and stack the Padres.
FanDuel DFS Pitchers
Steven Strasburg - P, vs ATL ($11,400)
Strasburg is a great cash game option today, and has been on fire when it comes to strikeouts. He has put up seven or more strikeouts in four straight starts, and two of those games he has over 11 strikeouts. Elite levels of production from the star pitcher, and is also limiting ER. He has only given up 3 ER over his last three games. He is up against the Braves today, who have a 19% strikeout rate vs right-handed pitching, which is one of the best in the league. Although the match up isn't super favorable, Strasburg has been consistent this year, and should be in consideration for your lineups.
Kyle Freeland - P, @ PIT ($7,700)
Freeland is a bit of a cheaper option, and is in an interesting spot. He is at the Pirates, which is a solid pitchers park, and up against a team who has a 21% strikeout rate vs left-handed pitching. Freeland isn't a super powerful pitcher when it comes to strikeouts, he only has 44 SO in 70 IP. So why is he a good pick tonight? Well, he has gotten the win in four of his last five outings, and only given up six earned runs in three starts. He knows how to limit the damage, and against a weaker offensive team, he stands to capitalize on it.
FanDuel DFS Infielders
Robinson Chirinos - C, @ HOU ($3,100)
Chirinos doesn't play everyday, but has some solid power upside when he gets to the plate. He has 7 HR in 24 games this year, and is up against a right-handed pitcher. He has a .332 wOBA and a .286 ISO vs RHP this season. He is at a hitters park, so there should be plenty of runs this game, best if used in a stack.
Mitch Moreland - 1B, vs PHI ($3,500)
Moreland had himself a nice weekend vs the Tigers, and he looks to continue that success with a series vs the Phillies starting today. Moreland is at home in Fenway, which is a great hitters park, where the wind is set to be blowing out toward center. Moreland has a .373 wOBA and a .234 ISO vs right-handed pitching this season. Great for cash games or used in a stack.
Daniel Murphy - 2B, vs ATL ($3,800)
Murphy is having himself a great first part of the season, and he has elite level numbers vs right-handed pitching this year. He has a .397 wOBA and a .212 ISO vs RHP. The Nationals have one, if not the best offense in the league, so this is a spot to target them. Great for cash games.
Chase Headley - 3B, @ LAA ($2,600)
Headley had the day off on Sunday, so he should be set to be back in the starting lineup tonight. Headley has scored 12 or more Fanduel points in three of his last four games. He is under $3K, and he gets you some exposure to the Yankees offense, can't go wrong there.
Elvis Andrus - SS, @ HOU ($3,300)
Andrus is in the midst of a 12 game hitting streak, and is putting up productive numbers every game. This game is at Houston which is a great hitters park, so he is solid for cash games or in a stack. Andrus has a .354 wOBA and a .153 ISO this season vs right-handed pitching.
FanDuel DFS Outfielders
Kole Calhoun - OF, vs NYY ($3,000)
Calhoun is a pretty solid cash game option almost every day. The Angles don't strikeout a lot as a team, so they always have a bit of upside. Calhoun has six hits in his last four games, and is up against Tanaka, who has been struggling of late. Calhoun has a .302 wOBA and a .330 OBP vs right-handed pitching this season.
Carlos Gonzalez - OF, @ PIT ($3,000)
Gonzalez doesn't seem to be the consistent power hitter he once was, and because of that, most people shy away from him. This is a spot where he could be lower owned in tournaments, and playing him as a one off, is the best option. He has a .303 wOBA and a .149 ISO vs right-handed pitching this season.
Aaron Hicks - OF, @ LAA ($3,500)
Hicks has moved up to batting second in the Yankees lineup, and he is one of the hotter hitters in baseball. He has put up 15 or more Fanduel points in three straight games, and has good power upside. He has a .4321 wOBA and a .273 ISO vs right-handed pitching this season.
