Offensive Stacks
Detroit Tigers vs Brad Peacock
Peacock is making the start due to Dallas Kuechel going on the DL, and this is the spot you want to target him. He is a long reliever for the Astros, and they shouldn't be expecting much from him. The Tigers have one of the better offenses in the the Majors, and are getting a nice positive park shift going to Minute Maid Park. Peacock is the lowest priced pitcher on the slate today, and the Tigers are in a good spot to put up some runs.
Philadelphia Phillies vs Jeff Hoffman
Hoffman is making a spot start on Monday for the Rockies, and this leaves the Phillies in a spot to take advantage of that. Although the Phillies aren't good as a team, they do have some sneaky good upside, especially when if comes to tournaments. Look to target players like, Tommy Joseph, Maikel Franco, and Odubel Herrera for power upside. Might be able to get them lower owned since the Yankees, and Tigers are on the slate.
FanDuel DFS Pitchers
John Lackey - P, vs SFG ($8,900)
When Lackey is on the mound, we are hoping we get the angry version of Lackey, because that without a doubt is the better pitching version of himself. When Lackey is locked in, there are not many batters who can take him on. He has six or more strikeouts in five of his eight starts this year, with two games at 7 SO, and two at 10 SO. So big strikeout upside from him, which should get you a good amount of points. Only bit of downside with this match up, is that the Giants only strikeout 19% versus right-handed pitching, which is one of the best rates in the league.
J.C. Ramirez - P, @ TAM ($7,200)
Ramirez has some good upside when it comes to strikeouts, as he put together three straight starts with seven or more, and is up against a team who strikeouts a lot. The Rays have a 26% strikeout rate vs right-handed pitching, which is dead last in the league. Ramirez is not a cash game play, and only for tournaments since he doesn't have the consistency you need for cash. Ramirez has had two quality starts in his last three outings, which is great to have, since you get the bonus points on FanDuel.
FanDuel DFS Infielders
Alex Avila - C, @ HOU ($3,400)
Avila is crushing right-handed pitching to start this season, he has a 245 wRC+ and a .361 ISO. Super strong numbers for him, and he is at Houston, which is a nice hitters park. He is decently expensive for catcher, but has a great match up tonight. Great for cash games, and really strong if used in a stack.
Carlos Santana - 1B, @ CIN ($3,700)
Any time there is a team going to Cincinnati, which is a great hitters park, that has big power bats, you have to give them a look. The Indians have a really strong offense, and in a park that is known for having plenty of home runs, this is a spot where you want to target them. Santana has a .342 wOBA and a .183 ISO vs right-handed pitching this year.
Cesar Hernandez - 2B, vs COL ($3,200)
Hernandez is one of the bright spots on an otherwise dreadful Philadelphia team. This season he has a .373 wOBA and a .408 OBP vs right-handed pitching. He is getting on base, and also has a bit of stolen base upside, since he has 6 SB on the season. More of a one off in GPPs, rather than a cash game play.
Jake Lamb - 3B, vs CWS ($4,300)
Lamb is coming off of a great last few games. He has scored 27 FanDuel points or more in four straight games, not including Sunday's game. He is going to be back at home which is a positive park shift for him, and is up against a RHP, and this seaosn he has a .455 wOBA and a .333 ISO against them. Great cash game play if you can afford him, and great in a stack.
Didi Gregorius - SS, vs KAN ($3,000)
Didi had a bit of a slow weekend series vs Tampa, but he is back at home which is a positive park shift for him. Last week the Yankees were at Kansas City and faced off against Vargas, where Didi put up 19.4 FanDuel points. We should be seeing much of the same from him tonight, and is a cheap option to get some exposure to the explosive Yankees offense.
FanDuel DFS Outfielders
Billy Hamilton - OF, vs CLE ($3,800)
Hamilton may not hit for a ton of power, but he has great upside when it comes to stolen bases. He has 23 stolen bases in 40 games this season. The Reds have really been trying to run on almost every pitcher this year, so if Hamilton gets on, he is going to try to steal. He has a .314 wOBA and a .340 OBP vs right-handed pitching.
Leury Garcia - OF, @ ARI ($2,800)
The White Sox are coming off of a big offensive weekend, and they are going to be at one of the best hitters parks in the league. Garcia has a .348 wOBA and a .205 ISO vs right-handed pitching this season. He is a bit of a cheaper option, and is great if used in a stack for tournaments.
J.D. Martinez - OF, @ HOU ($4,400)
Martinez started the year on the DL, and since he has rejoined the team, he is crushing the ball. He has sic home runs, in eight games played. Crazy start to his year, and even though that rate won't sustain for the the whole season, jump in now when he is swinging a hot bat.
