BALLER MOVE: Add in 14+ Team Leagues, Monitor in All Leagues
OWNED IN: 35% of Yahoo! leagues
ANALYSIS: Dickerson is off to a .360 average with two homers, four RBI and four runs scored. Dickerson is also batting leadoff in Tampa, which didn't sound too exciting until the season actually got underway. After one week, the Rays are fifth in team average (.271) and sixth in runs scored (33). Dickerson's run-scoring potential seems better than previously expected, in addition to his power potential. He has gone for 24 home runs twice in the last three seasons. There may be questions about his batting average, but he has historically been better than the .245 average he put up last year.
Preseason concerns about Corey Dickerson's playing time should be mostly alleviated. He has started five of the Rays' first seven games and has taken three at-bats in the games he didn't start. Although he historically doesn't hit lefties well (.247 career average vs. LHP), he should see enough time to be worth starting in leagues with 14 or more teams. You may need to check your daily lineups to see if he is sitting against a lefty, however.
