The games start at 1:00 PM EST today. This should be a fun slate. There are quite a few high-upside stacks, along with some elite pitching options. Noah Syndergaard is dealing with an injury, while Stephen Strasburg looks to get that strikeout pitch working.
In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy baseball lineup picks for DraftKings on 4/9/17. The DFS lineup picks will range from some of the elite players to mid-priced options and value plays on DraftKings.

DFS Lineup Stacks to Target on DraftKings
Cleveland Indians vs Patrick Corbin
The Cleveland Indians are hitting in Arizona tonight, which is great for the power hitters in the lineup. The ball flies in that desert heat. On top of that, Patrick Corbin is a left-handed pitcher, so the right-handed bats for the Indians have quite a bit of upside. This is a great tournament stack. Look toward Carlos Santana, Francisco Lindor, Brandon Guyer, and Yan Gomes.

DFS Starting Pitchers to Consider on DraftKings
Noah Syndergaard - P, vs MIA ($11,800)
Noah Syndergaard is dealing with an injury early in the season, but if the New York Mets were not confident that he is 100 percent healthy, he would not be taking the mound - not in a pointless game like this. The Miami Marlins have been hitting well, but Syndergaard is a different kind of animal. He has a very high SO/9 at 10.776, and his price tag is not too high. A simple, cheap stack will make him fit into most lineups.
Lance McCullers - P, vs KC ($9,900)
Believe it or not, Lance McCullers has a higher SO/9 than Noah Syndergaard. The Kansas City Royals strikeout over 0.280 times per at-bat, which is one of the higher statistics in the league. McCullers is very moderately priced, and he tends to not get into too much trouble. Roster him in both 50/50 contests and tournaments.
DFS Infielders to Consider on DraftKings
Catcher (C)
Kyle Schwarber, at MIL ($4,700)
Kyle Schwarber has been horrible to start the season, but he gets a good matchup against the right-handed Zach Davis in Milwaukee today. His price tag is entirely too high, but his home run potential is through the roof right now. The left-handed bat for the Cubs is a great tournament option.
First Base (1B)
Carlos Santana, at ARI ($4,300)
As previously mentioned in the stacks section of this article, Patrick Corbin is starting for the Arizona Diamondbacks tonight. Carlos Santana is expected to hit first for the Cleveland Indians. He has great power, especially in hitter-friendly Arizona. This is a high-upside option at the first base position, much like Kyle Schwarber at the catcher position.
Second Base (2B)
Jedd Gyorko, vs CIN ($3,400)
Jedd Gyorko is a great option at the second base position tonight. The Cincinnati Reds have a terrible starting rotation, and Gyorko has very positive ISO and wOBA differentials at 0.143 and 0.048 respectively. Gyorko will be ignored by most fantasy owners, but that should be a sin.
Shortstop (SS)
Manny Machado, vs NYY ($5,000)
Manny Machado gets a great matchup against the left-handed CC Sabathia and the New York Yankees. Machado is a right-handed bat, and while his price tag is high, he is worth it in tournaments. Finding a player as expensive as Machado with a positive wOBA is difficult.
Third Base (3B)
Ryon Healy, at TEX ($3,700)
Ryon Healy is a much better play on other sites, as DraftKings has already inflated his price tag, but with such a great matchup against Martin Perez in Texas, he can still be rostered in all leagues. The Oakland Athletics right-handed bats are all worth consideration in tournaments.
DFS Outfielders to Consider on DraftKings
Franklin Gutierrez, at COL ($4,300)
It doesn't matter how high his price tag gets, Franklin Gutierrez needs to be rostered when he plays in Coors Field against a left-handed pitcher. That exact scenario is happening today. Simple logic suggests that fantasy owners should play him. He has great power and upside. His price tag is not even all that high as of yet.
Brandon Guyer, at ARI ($3,100)
Brandon Guyer is hitting in Arizona, which is great for his upside. The Cleveland Indians, as previously mentioned are a solid stack in tournaments. Guyer is a right-handed batter against the left-handed Patrick Corbin. He has a 0.104 and 0.149 ISO and wOBA differentials.
